The Brief Cognitive Status Exam helps evaluate global cognitive functioning in patients with dementia, mild intellectual disability, or suspected Alzheimer’s disease. This brief, reliable test is a stand-alone version of the optional Brief Cognitive Status Exam found in the WMS®-IV (Wechsler Memory Scale® – Fourth Edition–Australian and New Zealand Language Adaptation).
